On a day we went to play
And ne’er made a mistake
Until we took a left turn
And then it was too late.

We went to Patonga
A little further north
Then the Umina op shop
And wandered back and forth.

We both had fish and chips
Then watched a whistling kite
And sidled up to locals
As easy as you like.

Tell me where the lion is
And where the creek leads to
Shake a leg and masticate
Then go to the loo.

We just love the wildlife
Tall trees and eucalypts
We wandered into an Arboretum
Excitement on our lips.

Then we heard a Lyrebird
Singing songs so sweet
La la la too fast to know
What song the bird did tweet.

Walking talking touching trees
The smooth Angophoro types
Sweet and neat on our feet
A day of pure delight.
