Chasing Dreams
Comedy of life
The wild and wacky ride we’re on,
Life’s a hiccup, no denying, son.
With ups and downs, twists and turns,
It’s a carnival of craziness, as life adjourns.
Wake up each day, face the morning strife,
Juggle work, bills, and the kitchen knife.
But in the chaos, find a nugget of gold,
A slice of joy, a story to be told.
Remember that time you spilled your coffee,
Stained your shirt, yet laughed so jolly.
Life’s a comedy, with slapstick routines,
Tripping on shoelaces, or falling for beans.
Dance in the rain, sing in the shower,
Embrace the chaos, every single hour.
The mundane is magic, the routine sublime,
In the daily grind, discover the prime.
Sure, there are Mondays, a bit of a drag,
But without them, Fridays wouldn’t zigzag.
Chase your dreams, though absurd they seem,
In the grand circus of life, be the dream.
When storms hit hard, and troubles assail,
Remember, after rain, there’s a colorful trail.
Ride the storms, let the thunder roll,
For after the tempest, find the pot of gold.
The mess, the laughter, the strife,
To the awesome, crazy, fantastic life.
In this grand adventure, be bold, be free,
For life’s quirks and charms are for you and me.
