In the heart of the deep woods, a lost stream
sings its liquid hymn to forgotten stones.
Bending reeds sway in the wind’s unseen seams,
an ethereal choir in a sanctuary of overgrown.

Elusive as a fawn’s murmur, the stream traces
its own subtle arcana through earth’s dark fingers.
Moonlight filters through the forest’s laced veils,
illuminating every ripple in silent linger.

The stream, too, is a wanderer,
as it traces the roots of the ageless trees.
Yet in its solitude, it finds its own grandeur,
singing its way out, free as a woodland breeze.

This is my first poetry on For Awe. I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to share my words through such a wonderful platform.

This poem is a tribute to the often overlooked majesty of nature, a sanctuary where even a lonely stream can find its voice. I hope it resonates with you as much as it does with me. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my work.
