For Awe

For true happiness and better physical and mental health, make way for awe. In the vastness of the universe, the opportunities for finding awe are unlimited. Sharing our experiences of awe increases the impact it has on us and further connects us for the greater good.

It is the law of nature
And is also universal
Surety of, rise and fall
And no known reversal.

The cycle of the moon
Seas both flow and ebb
Spiders set traps
Woven in a web.

Nations rise and fall
Soldiers follow too
Rising then falling
And then another coup.

Christ fell, on the cross
Murdered and then rose
Reborn to fall again
How nobody knows.

The sepulcher is open
And the ghosts have risen
From the burial chamber
Free at last from prison.

Each day the sun rises
And a new day’s born
Shadows turn to sunlight
In the might of dawn.

I fall into a trance
Then rise, in the morning
Then I rise and I fall
With very little warning.

Life is short and transient
It happens to us all
The inevitability
Of the rise and fall.
