Seascape
My escape.
Next to me,
The restless sea,
Mystifies my mind,
I watch its wild movement,
And see its power unwind.
The seascape,
Is a spectrum,
Of scintillating light,
Divisions in my vision,
Produces pure delight.
It’s rise and fall,
Pique’s my enthrall,
A tower of great power,
The spray display is magic,
A smash and rainbow shower.
The seascape,
Is my escape,
It takes me to a place,
Beyond the worldly worries,
Made by the human race.
So here I sit in silence,
And watch the mighty sea,
A seascape of pure magic,
As far as I can see.
The blue and white,
Then grey near night,
Move-in mighty rhythm,
The symmetry of sand and sea,
A musical composition.
So now I rate,
The great seascape,
A wonder of the world,
On a boat, I’m now afloat,
Her mighty sails unfurled.
