The Moments That Go Wrong Are Just Right Sometimes

The ducks I wanted to photograph almost stepped on my toes

The morning dew still covered the shoreline. I set up my tripod knowing this was a great space for awe. I was waiting a while when a mallard hen and her baby finally came ashore. I was expecting a great photo opportunity.
