Hi. Justin here. I’m the creator/editor/whatever-else-you-want-to-call-it of the “For the Love of Podcast” Publication on Medium. First off, I just want to say thanks. Thanks for engaging with the stories in this collection. We have officially hit over 100 followers to the collection, which is a nice milestone for such a niche concept.

But the podcast niche is growing. Since the launch of Serial, podcasts have entered the mainstream media like never before, and I think other podcasts are now upping their game.

Medium has made some great changes which has allowed this publication to grow. But what it still needs is fresh content and a wider writer base. That’s where you all come in. If you enjoy podcasting, I would love to hear from you. What shows do you like? What are you listening to this week? What shows tick you off? It doesn’t have to be elaborate. It could be though. Medium is a platform that allows a 22-minute-read post be just as effective as a two-minute-read.

So, here is a list of posts I would love to add to the collection:

• Podcast Reviews — my original plan for this collection. Take a show you love and describe why you look forward to its new episode each and every week.
• Episode Reviews — What was it about that episode of “This American Life” that changed the way you felt about something or someone?
• Current Playlist — What’s in your queue right now?
• Creating a Podcast — Maybe you produce your own podcast. Tell us about that. What challenges do you face? What kind of reaction do you get from your listener-base?
• Any other type of story that contains the word “podcast.”
