Desmos and δεσμός
Last month in HackAtom Seoul, we have presented the prototype of Desmos. Earlier this month in the first ever Cosmos Meetup in Shenzhen, we have introduced how we used Cosmos SDK and WASM to build Desmos:
While we are still in Berlin until 25/8, we are preparing for the testnet of Desmos and revamp of Big Dipper.
We have drafted the introduction of Desmos (finally!). While this is still a work-in-progress, I can’t wait to share with you. Click here to check it out 🙂
For those who are curious, the name “ Desmos “ is not related to “Cosmos”. It was inspired from Ancient Greek desmós (δεσμός) which means “bond, relationship”. But who knows? Maybe this was subconsciously inspired from Cosmos.
