As a Hong Kong startup, Forbole is a well-established blockchain validator and software developer with global tractions. We are hiring Infrastructure Engineer.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement secured, robust and high performing institutional-grade blockchain network infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot network related incidents, perform review and make improvement to the facility
  • Educate both internal and external parties regarding our security measures
  • Perform periodic resiliency testing
  • Provide support to our delegators community
  • Participate in the architectural and design decisions
  • Research various blockchain protocols and the best practice

Core requirements

  • Min. 2 years solid experience in engineering complex and high performance networks
  • Solid experience with Linux, python, bash script and Golang
  • Solid experience in network infrastructure and cyber security
  • Experienced in core infrastructure software and/or distributed systems
  • Strong computer science fundamentals

Below experience/skills will be a plus

  • Cosmos SDK, Tendermint Core or other blockchain related open-source projects
  • Fault tolerant consensus protocols
  • P2P networking protocols

Other requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to take ownership and see initiatives through
  • Experience working in an agile and international environment
  • Startup and crypto friendly

Working at Forbole

  • Location: Preferred Hong Kong but overseas candidates will also be considered
  • Flexible office and work from home policy
  • May need to work according to the timezones in Europe and/or the US occasionally
  • Remuneration commensurate with experience (fiat, cryptos, equity, future tokens)
