As a Hong Kong startup, Forbole is a well-established blockchain validator and software developer with global tractions. We are hiring Software Engineer(s).

Responsibilities

As our software engineer, you are a builder for web 3: a decentralized and censorship-free internet. You will build things that people love to use with state-of-the-art technologies.

Responsible for the web and app development of our products which include the award-winning Big Dipper block explorer series, decentralized microblogging app Mooncake and other software and applications currently in stealth mode.
Write scalable, robust, testable, efficient, and easily maintainable code
Translate software requirements into stable, working, high performance software
Participate in architectural and design decisions
Be an indispensable part of building our engineering culture
Research various blockchain protocols and the best practice

Core requirements

Experience in using HTML/CSS, Javascript, MongoDB, Flutter or Golang
Experience in web server
Demonstrate the ability and desire to become proficient in new languages

Below experience/skills will be a plus but not essential (you will learn them at Forbole)

Rust, Cosmos SDK, Substrate
Testing methodology and documentation
Network infrastructure and cyber security

Other requirements

Strong written and verbal communication skills
The ability to take ownership and see initiatives through
Experience working in an agile and international environment
Startup and crypto friendly

More experienced candidates will be considered as Senior Software Engineer

Location: Preferred Hong Kong but overseas candidates will also be considered
