It’s more than a month since our last newsletter. We are fine and we hope you are as well. We keep making progress, especially on Desmos project. It’s just that we have spread our effort in a few channels that we chose to delay the newsletter.

The market

Crypto hodlers get used to market crash. Still, some blockchain startups will cease to exist. Venture capitalist Mark Suster has spoken on the topic “Funding in the time of Coronavirus”. I think the slide is self-explanatory. The post on The Startup is also inspiring:

Desmos

We have just published a review on Desmos to summarize our progress in the past few months. Brought to you by Laura Nori:

There are various products out there which may cause confusions. Simply put:

  • Desmos: is the blockchain (together with its staking token “DSM”) for decentralized social networks.
  • Mooncake: is the “decentralized Twitter” built on Desmos

While there are a lot improvement works are needed, I hope you can try Mooncake (beta) which is available for both iOS (TestFlight) and Android.

Why we name it “Mooncake”? See if you can get it here.

Big Dipper

While we keep fixing the bugs of its current version, we are also upgrading Big Dipper. We are finalizing the UX of the first version and target to launch it in May/Jun. This is an open-source project supported by Interchain Foundation. We hope Big Dipper can support more blockchains in the future.

Forbole

We think different players need to work more in their home court to convert more people to join crypto/blockchain space. So we have started:

Be healthy. Keep social distancing. We will be fine.
