Forbole Updates (Dec 2020)
Ho Ho Ho! Christmas is coming. Forbole is also growing quickly :) It’s time to give you all an update (I know I should do it earlier…).
1. New Forbole Website (https://www.forbole.com/)
After more than three years, we have revamped our website for the first time!
2. New Forbole Blog
Comes with the new web is the new blog. We are migrating our blog from this Medium to https://www.forbole.com/blog. In the future, Medium will serve as an announcement channel.
Our team is working hard to improve the UX of the web and the blog. Stay tuned!
3. New teammates
- More teammates have joined us to co-build the interchain! You may see them here. We also have a series of tweets to announce new teammates which is getting longer! Hope you can show them some supports :)
- I have explained why we are keen to build a diversified team, early on.
4. We put more effort in our portfolio projects
We are expanding our staking portfolio gradually. More than making investments and running validator nodes on our portfolio projects, we engage actively in the communities and improve the tools for users. Below are some of our recent effort:
Akash:
- Akash Big Dipper is supporting Akashian Challenge Phase 3
- Ravi, our Infrastructure Engineer, talked about our journey at Akash
- Ravi further talked about how he deployed Big Dipper to Akash DeCloud easily
Cosmos:
- About our vote on Proposal 31 and 32 on Cosmos Hub
- Demonstrate how to use Big Dipper to vote on governance proposals
- Proposing a Q&A site for Cosmos at StackExchange.com
LikeCoin:
- We will raise our commission at LikeCoin to improve decentralization. LikeCoin is an underrated Cosmos ecosystem project which you may not want to miss.
Oasis
- Shilin, our Community Lead, talked about how Oasis Protocol will change the way data is used.
Solana
- Paul, our Software Engineer, explained our work on Solana’s Stake-o-Matic
And of course, we have tremendous progress on Desmos project. We still need some more time to wrap up. Meanwhile, you may first read Desmos blog.
