Forest Knight Update [December]: 2019 Recap & 2020 Roadmap
We’re looking back at our progress in 2019 and ahead to the exciting developments coming to Forest Knight in 2020.
First of all, we want to thank you all for supporting us to this day.
We are blessed to have such a supportive and enthusiastic community. The journey we knights have been through is unbelievable, so let’s jump right into our last Forest Knight blog post of the year!
Forest Knight 2019 Recap
2019 was a great year for fans of blockchain gaming, Enjin, and Forest Knight!
We worked hard to push the boundaries of gaming, do pioneering work in this scene, and deliver on our promises—all of which was rewarded by our dedicated community’s support. We appreciate this so much.
Here’s a quick overview of what we accomplished in 2019:
Battle Plan 2020
Despite being a great success, 2019 was only the beginning for Forest Knight.
There is a lot to do, and Knights never back away from a new challenge. We have big plans for next year and even bigger ambitions!
Here’s a sneak peek into what awaits you in 2020:
New Heroes
We know how you all love to strategize with your team and try out new heroes.
To make the game truly competitive and strategy-focused, we believe our players need more choices for how to build their teams to fight enemies. So, we plan to add more heroes throughout the year with a clear vision of each hero’s role.
Ultimate tip: The next hero will be able to use a Multiverse item!
More Equipment
Currently, each hero is able to equip one weapon of the correct class. In early 2020, we will introduce new types of equipment that will not bound to a unique hero class.
That way, you can choose for yourself which stat is valuable for which hero and decide who to equip that item to.
Arena Update
We realized how much fun many of you have when facing your fellow Knights.
We want to build on this feeling and expand the Arena with the Ranking system, seasonal rewards, and Arena Rewards.
We believe skill should be rewarded, and we look forward to implementing a skill-based reward system and giving all players the opportunity to be rewarded for their bravery in the Arena with valuable blockchain assets!
Companion System
Your team of 3 will soon have a new special member!
We don’t want to give away too much, but we look forward to showing you the new Forest Knight companion system where players can collect, trade, and create their own personal companion to help in the battle against evil.
This is a very ambitious update, and we’ll keep you updated on it in the near future.
Of course, these are only a few of many new updates to come in 2020—not to mention our iOS release, friend and guild systems, world boss, and more.
