Hello Knights, welcome back to another Forest Knight development update!

First off, we’d like to say thanks for your continued support.

We are excited to share with you what we’ve been working on for the last month, so let’s jump right in, starting with a quick recap.

Swissborg Quest

Last month, we were honored to be part of the Cyborg’s Quest, a cross-game quest event hosted by Enjin and Swissborg.

Forest Knight hosted the challenge to recover the Cyborg’s Torso, and our players were diligent in the task to find it.

Thank you for the huge support we saw during the event! We learned a lot and are sure the next one will be bigger and better.

The Cyborg Champion token that players received for completing the quest is going to be usable in Forest Knight as Paladin Skin in the upcoming patch, so get ready to style on your opponents!

September Development Update

UI Overhaul

One of the most popular suggestions we’ve received from the community—and also from other professionals in the field—was to change our UI art style. The art style was old and did not progress with the quality of the game over the last year.

To get our UI up to speed, we spent several weeks working on replacing everything with more modern and user-friendly art font and alignments.

We’re excited to hear your feedback on these improvements, so let us know what you think!

Town UI
New Heroes Screen
New Battle UI

We’re always open to any suggestions on how we can improve the player experience even further.

New Map: Castle Ruins

After the heavy snow world, our heroes are going to slowly approach better weather conditions.

But don’t let the good weather fool you—these lands are more dangerous than any other with brand new monsters never seen before.

So upgrade your team, level up your heroes, and improve your weapons if you want to survive!

NEW Map

Blockchain Features

We had some cool and innovative Blockchain features planned in the pipeline, however, due to congestion of the Ethereum network congestion and high gas fees, we feel it would be unwise to release them right now.

Forest Knight’s philosophy has always been “gaming first,” and we can not expect our players to pay such fees just because they want to enjoy new features.

We are looking into second-layer solutions, especially Enjin’s incredible Efinity, and monitoring the industry carefully.

We will let you know when we have more to show, but rest assured that your assets are safe and all items which you are missing will be sent out at some point. We apologize for the delay and inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

Developing the Arena

Our next focus for development is going to be the arena.

We know how you love it, and we know how frustrating it is to not find any match, etc. But not to worry—in the coming weeks, we will be gradually introducing some awesome new PVP features and bringing the Arena where it belongs, at the core gameplay of Forest Knight!

We are looking at it as a casual esports opportunity, where our community can have fun, win prizes, and achieve great milestones.

NEW Enemy: Harpy

Thank you so much for your support and patience throughout our development journey.

Let us know what you think about the update on social using the hashtag #ForestKnight.

See you in the Kingdom.
