Monthly Recap [November]
The first half of November was a calm month. As we move toward the Shatterpoint arena event, December seems like it’s going to be another fun month. Find out more in this Forest Knight November recap.
November has gone by in a flash. We’ve been busy working with the newly refactored code and adding the finishing touches to our well-established features. So what did we do this November?
Forest Knight at W3E Gaming
Forest Knight visited this year’s W3E gaming with our booth. Our CEO, Behfar, explained the current state of the game and our game design philosophy, sharing exciting ideas with people from all over the world.
It was thrilling seeing new players discover Forest Knight for the first time, seeing that there’s a lot to gameplay already. Detailing our plans and goals for the future, we are setting up the game for more, and we shared this plan with all the enthusiastic visitors.
Shatterpoint and Forest Knight Arena Tournament
Following a successful strategic partnership with Shatterpoint, we are happy to announce a tournament where our players can earn exciting prizes.

2. Fight in the Chronville Arena to collect trophies and qualify for the raffle!
- Collect over 150 trophies for the raffle on WL T1.
- Collect more than 50 trophies for the raffle on WL T2.

The tournament runs from 1.12 (12 UTC) to 3.12 (12 UTC).

A Reminder to Use Discord
Forest Knight officially moved its support system from Jira to Discord last month. We want all our followers to move to Discord because it is our primary communication channel. We use it to update our players for everything, patch notes, updates, alerts, and everything else you can think of.

Major Game Update
November included two major patches for the game:

Patch 0.5.7.5 Notes
Spin the Magical Wheel!
Players can now spin a magical wheel and earn bonuses in-game. We’ve added this feature for more meaningful ways of rewarding our players. Receive one free spin per day! Find out how to get the two other spins using the discord server linked above in the “patch-notes” channel.
Adventure Mode: Enhanced
We realize that players get to the end of adventure mode eventually. We added hard mode way back when and didn’t look back at adventure mode until we were ready to add something more to it.
Now, by finishing the adventure stages, OPTIONAL ads can randomly appear. Finish watching these ads for double the gold/XP rewards.
Assassin Animation Reworked
We love the assassin as much as our community does. Freya is a powerful hero that arena players simply can’t resist. We gave the Assassin an entirely new animation set. This update includes more dynamic and fluid movements while providing better feedback on the hero’s skill
Hard Mode Rework
We’ve added a toggleable switch for normal mode and hard mode. Now players can choose between the two. This new mode consumes twice the amount of food and provides twice the drop rate for virtual items, NFTs, and resources from all drops.
Minibosses Amped Up
Minibosses in hard mode can now spawn with one passive and one active skill. These are poison on hit, poison damage over time, or AoE damage. Additionally, the miniboss’s skill can either be an L-shaped that stuns or an X-shaped that drains mana. The miniboss can also spawn with an enrage mechanic, dealing double the attack damage.
The “normal mode” minibosses have the same old rage effect with an increased chance of dropping weapons (lower than hard mode).
Tutorial System
We’ve done a complete overhaul of the tutorial system. The extended tutorial now explains the city buildings when they unlock, rather than the previous version explaining everything at once. This way, players can play the game mode immediately after their introduction to it.
Patch 0.5.7.6
This patch saw the release of the Thanksgiving event. Starting on the 24th of November, players can earn NFTs in this exciting new event! The 2022 Thanksgiving Event ends on the 8th of December. Make sure you collect as many dinners and desserts as you can. The cook needs them for a grand feast.

Black Friday Discounts
As part of the Thanksgiving event, we’ve given a lot of things in our shop a “Black Friday” discount. Packages were off by as much as 50%, and players could get the most bang for their buck.
New Battlegrounds
In October, we hosted an event where we asked our players to design new battlegrounds they thought would fit in the Forest Knight arena. We had a blast, and it made us so happy to see so much engagement from our players. Thank you to everyone who sent in their entries and to those who voted.
In patch 0.5.7.6, we finally added the battlegrounds in-game. Congratulations to the winners of the event! Your legacy lives in Chronville.
I Bid Thee Farewell, November
A new year is almost near, and we’re working hard to keep the wheels spinning. Remember to join the Devs vs. Players Q&A event on the 7th of December at 6 PM (UTC). This event is an opportunity to learn more about the present and future of Forest Knight, and we welcome everyone to join in on the fun. Not only can you ask the company’s CEO directly, but we also give away prizes during the live event.
