What’s happening in the Forest Knight universe? Chronville will undergo massive changes in Season 1. Are you ready to continue your fight against the Skeleton Master?

With Season 1 just around the corner, this update will be the biggest single patch in Forest Knight history! The release of the NFT marketplace, refactoring, and events will make this the most exciting launch we have ever done.

Let’s find out what Season 1 has in store.

Refactoring

The code rework is an ongoing process that started four months ago. This whole process took a lot of development effort, and we’re almost at the time when we’re going to launch the updated version of Forest Knight. In this version, the game will receive an entirely new look, smoother animations, better performance, and bug-free gameplay for all our knights.

Previously, we’ve addressed bugs as they appeared one by one. Although this kept our players temporarily satisfied, it was not sustainable in the long term. We’d like to thank all of you for your patience in what is the biggest change Forest Knight will go through. Following refactoring, we’ll be able to host unique events that were previously impossible due to technological problems. New mechanics and features will become available.

Seasonal Prizes and Rewards

Celebrating this major launch, we’re giving away 250,000 $KNIGHT and 1% of the marketplace fee as part of the prize pool. These rewards will be part of the seasonal rewards. The marketplace fee will contribute to this growing pool, so thank you to all the knights who choose to use the Forest Knight NFT Marketplace to trade all their hard-earned NFTs.

ELO Ranking System

With the launch of Season 1, we also celebrate a new ranking system! The new ELO ranking system allows us to rank equally skilled opponents in the Arena in a fair matchup. We use several meaningful metrics to measure a player’s strength and calculate their MMR.

We are still using our previous ranking system — which will remain the same. The MMR system will compound the ranking system. The system will serve as a background reference to get the more skilled players to the rank they have to be in quicker while not giving casual players a hard time with unfair matchups.

NFT Marketplace

The launch of the Forest Knight NFT marketplace marked one of the most important core features of the game. Now our knights can trade their NFT on our marketplace with an enhanced user experience. Multiple options and a straightforward trading process make the platform easy to use.

We launched the marketplace in preparation for Season 1. With the addition of our Asmorian Crafting system that allows players to earn NFTs and the upcoming Solar Eclipse event, we hope to see it populated with more NFTs.

New Hero

As part of the Season 1 Prize pool, we’re going to give away multiple things, two of those being epic NFT weapons and NFT skins for the new hero. Stay tuned for the upcoming announcements where we reveal more about her!
