What is a Personal Card
Personal Cards are digital items that can be created by Foresting users. Once you create an account you will be able to access into the Personal Card settings without any payment. It is all free! This is a new way to interact with your friends and subscribers within Foresting.
Personal Card Types
Personal Cards fall into two distinct categories: regular and reward type. The regular cards are issued for sale only. It means that influencers, content creators and curators can issue their digital cards with full customization in order to get support from their followers. To simply put, you can imagine this card as a medium of your donation to the card seller. By purchasing Personal Cards issued by others, you show your support so they can keep working on more quality contents. On the other hand, the reward cards are special digital items that compensate for your purchase amount in the form of personal tokens. To clarify we have to look through what a personal token is. Personal tokens are the cryptocurrencies based on Ethereum’s ERC-20 contract. Not everyone can issue his/her personal tokens. Social influencers, including celebrities, movie stars, singers, bloggers, Youtubers, editors, opinion leaders and so on, can apply STARBIT (Foresting’s project which allows applicants to issue their own tokens and trade them by listing on the STARBIT cryptocurrency exchange) to run token sale campaigns and create trades among the token holders. There is an application assessment council which is managed by Foresting. Successful candidates are allowed to issue ERC-20 tokens under their name and list their tokens on the exchange. Now, let us find what connects rewards cards with personal tokens. Any influencer can create and sell reward-type personal cards and request STARBIT for preliminary listing examination on the exchange. Applicants who pass the review are offered to issue personal tokens. After the official listing, reward-type personal card holders will be compensated with the listed tokens depending on the purchase amount. Reward card issuers are required to offer alternative rewards, not tokens, to the buyers in case they do not pass the token listing examination. So be convincing before issuing your reward cards by giving full information about your card and rewards that buyers will benefit from.
There are several customization tools for personal card issuance. For example, the price and sale period of a card can be freely set by the issuer and the sale period can be extended later. However, unlike regular cards, reward-type personal cards can be issued only once, which cannot be sold after the related personal token is listed on the STARBIT exchange. Benefits of a Personal Card
When you sell a personal card, you will be exempted from services fees. In the case of reward card sales, the higher the sales volume, the more points in the personal token listing assessment. This is how you can turn your influence into a real asset. You can apply for settlement when the accumulated amount of personal card sales exceeds 500 Berry (KRW 50,000). If you have not reached the amount you have settled, try to promote your personal card so that you can extend the sales period of your personal cards or issue a new personal card to reach your intended settlement amount.
