How It All Happened at the ‘Everything of Foresting’ Meetup at DeCentre Blockchain Caffe
Over 100 blockchainers and crypto enthusiasts turned up for the maiden Foresting Meetup, held at the DeCentre Blockchain Caffe in Gangnam, last Tuesday. Titled ‘Everything of Foresting,’ the event aimed at unraveling everything that Foresting is about, to a teeming audience.
The Caffe happens to be the first blockchain-themed coffee shop and coworking space to be opened in Korea. It is a safe and cool space for the general public, especially crypto-maniacs to meet, share knowledge and talk blockchain. The floor is very spacious enough to accommodate over 100 people for startup and blockchain events.
The Foresting Meetup brought together blockchain industry experts, ICO advisors, token investors, and enthusiasts to learn more Foresting’s services, but more importantly, the 1st Public ICO Pre-sale which will end on Friday, August 24, 2018.
CEO of Foresting, Daniel Eom delivered the keynote presentation that highlighted on Foresting’s company updates since its establishment in March. He also underscored how Foresting can bring economic freedom to content creators not only in Korea, but also globally.
Daniel was later joined on stage by Kwanghee Lee (Solicitor at Foresting) and Woon Hee Lee (CTO at Foresting), for the Q&A session. Woon Hee Lee gave a comprehensive technical insight on the Foresting Platform, which is currently in the MVP development stage and will soon be ready for alpha testing by the general public. Mr Kwanghee Lee on the other hand gave a brief on the legal issues of the Foresting network, ICO, and Whitepaper among others.
Foresting Web App Live Event
A web version of the Foresting App was exclusively unveiled to attendants at the meetup. Participants were asked to log-in the web app and upload live photos of the event. The App had an Upbeat feature (similar to the Like button on traditional social media) that allowed anyone to give UPBEATS to any of the photo contents uploaded on the web app.
The Top 3 users who garnered the most Upbeats were awarded a Dison Air Conditioner, Espresso machine and Wireless Earpod for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
And oh, there were lots of finger foods and drinks for participants to savour the moment.
This successful meetup adds up to list of user-centered activation events hosted by Foresting HQ, in the build to its grand launch in 2019.
Foresting HQ has previously hosted a Tech Summit in June, Foresting Hackathon in Tel Aviv in July and the Foresting Talk Concert early August.
