Forge Integrates with Telegram: Expanding Community Engagement for Game Developers

We’re excited to announce that Forge has launched a new integration with Telegram, one of the fastest-growing platforms for gaming communities!

This new feature allows game developers to entice players to join them on Telegram, enhancing community engagement and opening up opportunities to integrate with Telegram’s new in-app gaming experiences.

Players, Telegram can be a great way to connect directly with your favorite games to get breaking news first or discuss the latest patch notes with likeminded fans. Connect your Telegram account to Forge at https://forge.gg/quests and earn 2000 bonus XP for a limited time, and join the official Forge Telegram Community and Telegram Announcement Channel for 500 additional XP each!

Game developers, with this functionality you can add new Actions to your Loyalty Program that entice and reward users for joining your Telegram channel. You’ll just need to add the Forge TG Bot first, and then set up an Action on your Loyalty Dashboard. Note: in order to track in-game activity, you’ll still need to integrate the Forge API.

Step-by-step instructions below:

First, go to your Group or Channel and tap the “Add Member” button, and search for the bot (@forge_actions_bot):

Once added, you will recieve a private message from the bot with a code:

Last but not least, in your Forge Dashboard, click the Telegram icon on the lefthand navigation section and click “Register installation” and paste the code provided by the bot.

Now that this is all set up, you can head back over to the Actions tab to add a new Join Telegram Action so that you can entice user growth and activity in your TG!
