FORGED FOR GOOD

For life is love, true joy is eternal, we are not.

There are different kinds of joys. The one that comes from within, from successfully achieving plans and goals. The one that comes from outside, from receiving gifts and love. And the one that has nothing to do with us, from witnessing the joy of others. The latest one is the hardest of all. Thus make it last longer.

The ability to be sincerely happy with other’s happiness is often poluted by envy, jealousy, and masks of social norms we put upon ourselves. But when we do, only then we can easily be happy. Since there is a lot of humans, so there are greater chances we are influenced by their happiness.

Yet I think, there is another level of happiness. The one above all. The rarest one that we mindlessly take for granted. The joy of experiences all kinds of feelings, good and bad, ups and downs, both alone and together. The joy of progress, the celebration of dynamics, the bliss of life, and its entirety. The happiness when you're sad, the happiness when you can stay beside your loved ones when they're sad, the happiness you get when the world is bleak but it keeps trying to be better. Not the happiness-because, but the happiness-despite.

If you have found your happiness-despite, hold it tenderly. For as long as you can. But be happy to let it go eventually. For life is love, a true joy is eternal, we are not. We are a mortal. Human.
