Seared scallops are a reliable bite of supple, no matter where you go.
So seeing it was on the menu at a seafood restaurant in particular, tickled my fancy a little extra.
Eagerly perched upon a soft silky layer of cauliflower purée, the little mounds of delight glistened in ripe glory.
Decorated with little natural strands of greens, they begged to be tasted.
Just a taste.
Warm, taut, creamy, unraveling of flavors with every chew.
And just like that, it was gone.
And all I was left with, was a lingering memory of satisfaction and a faint yearning for more.
