Over the past year, Formlabs has rapidly grown its offices in Boston, Berlin, Hungary, Shenzhen, and Singapore. Now, as part of a larger expansion effort, we’re opening a new engineering office in the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina. With a core team already at work, the Formlabs North Carolina office plans to open its doors in early 2019.

Formlabs North Carolina Will Focus on Innovation
The engineering team in this new office will work on early-stage hardware and software R&D projects that expand what’s possible in digital manufacturing.

Formlabs’ success over the past years is the result of a dedicated and skilled team. In order to both improve our existing products and design entirely new technologies, this team will need to be multidisciplinary and versatile. We’re looking for talented, motivated hardware and software engineers across functions who love answering hard questions and pushing boundaries while working quickly and collaboratively.

North Carolina is a Great Place to Make Things
Three top-tier universities form the ‘points’ of the Research Triangle: North Carolina State University (NCSU), Duke, and The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The research programs at each of these universities overlap strongly with the work we do at Formlabs, and the area is home to a wide variety of technology and engineering companies. We are excited to become part of a vibrant community of people making great things.
