Since Formosa Financial entered AppWorks #18, we have been expanding our network to blockchain startups across Greater Southeast Asia while taking advantage of the excellent mentorship and resources provided by their accelerator program. Today, Formosa Financial participated in AppWorks #18 Mentor Day by presenting our company to experienced veterans of key industries in Taiwan including banking, telecommunications, and more.
Co-founder and CEO Ryan Terribilini gave a three minute pitch introducing Formosa Financial’s platform and partnerships to mentors and fellow batchmates. With the upcoming Alpha release of Formosa Financial’s treasury management app the timing made for an excellent occasion to introduce the platform and its core services to potential clients and partners while receiving valuable feedback on ways to improve our product value proposition.
AppＷorks #18 Mentor Day provides startups with a chance to gain mentorship from senior business leaders in relevant industries and companies. Representatives from FarEasTone, Chinatrust Commercial Bank, and Mithril amongst others participated in the event.
The Formosa team had a great afternoon at the much anticipated event as it provided top AI and blockchain startups with a unique opportunity to showcase their value propositions in front of thought leaders and veterans from some of Taiwan’s biggest companies.
