How do I create a contact form for my website without needing to write code?
Creating contact forms for your website can be unnecessarily time consuming. However, there is a simple solution. You can create your form and integrate it into your page in just seconds using forms.app. Better still, you can customize your form any way you like.
First, go to the forms.app website and click on the Start Now button. Once you’ve arrived at the My Forms page, click on the Create Form button in order to create your first form. Here, I’ve written “Contact Form”; however, you can name your form anything you like.
Next, click ‘ADD NEW FIELD’ on the top left-hand corner, and enter in as many questions/question types as you so chose. Here I’ve chosen to ask people to fill in their names, e-mail addresses, and a message.
Now, let’s say you want the filling in of these to be mandatory. To do this, click on the ‘Properties’ icon on the bottom-right hand corner of where you enter in your question, and then click ‘Required’ in order to render the question mandatory. If you like, you can create placeholders that suit your needs as well. Once you’ve customized your settings the way you want to, a red ‘*’ symbol will appear at the top of the question indicating to you that it is mandatory.
Now, your contact form is ready to go! Wait, what’s that? You want you tweak a couple more things, do you? To activate your notifications, go to the Settings section at the top-right hand of the page, click on Notification Settings, and then select “Email Notification”.
To add a little extra something to your form before you publish it, you can also click on Design Settings and Thank You Page Settings and play around with things according to your own tastes. Last but not least, to integrate your form into your website, click Share at the top right hand corner. Now, a pop-up will appear on your right. First click Show More, then click Embed as Iframe, and enter in your desired width and height values. Finally, copy the code that appears at the bottom.
