Get Out Of The Rat Race By Learning Financial Literacy

If there is something you should learn, it is financial literacy.

Money is important, no doubt about it. And a big part of my message to the world is to get smarter with your money. However, it would be misguided to say that I’m concerned just about money. What I’m really talking about is freedom and security.

In other words, I’m talking about the precious things that money can bring us. Financial education creates a world that is more free and more secure. It’s a world where you can enjoy the time with your family because you do have more time to spend with it. And you can rest easier at night because you know you’ve set your family up for financial security. My mission is to make you get the knowledge you need to be financially free. After all, knowledge is the new money.

There was a guy named Steve. He was a graphic designer making more than $10,000 per month. He was considered a rich man for our background. He had the most beautiful car that you could ever dream of. Steve was living the life of his dream. We used to envy him because he was dating any girl he wished to date. We used to envy him up until he lost his job. To cut the story short, Steve lost his job, and the company took the car and the house from him. All he was left with was the credit cards and debts. I must conclude then, that Steve was financially illiterate. He had lots of credit cards with only one source of income.

He didn’t have the knowledge about finance. He was running in a rat race. This could be avoided by getting financial education, by learning how to invest and where to invest. The story proves that we can’t depend on one source of income.

✝️ In the Bible, the book of Genesis 2:10, it says “there were four streams that emerged from the garden of Eden” meaning that the garden of Eden was watered by four streams. Your life can’t be watered by one source of income. It can flourish only by having other streams of income.

Steve had only one source of income to cover his day-to-day life, that’s why he failed.

Taking another job will not fix the problem. Creating additional pipelines of cash flow is the solution. You have to change your thinking when it comes to financial matters.
