FORT BEND ISD (June 11, 2019) — The last game of the 2019 UIL Class 6A Baseball season served as the final first of an unforgettable season for the Ridge Point High School Panthers Baseball Team. The Panthers (33–5–1) finished as the second-best Class 6A team in Texas falling to the back-to-back champions, Southlake Carroll (33–11), in the championship game held at Dell Diamond, the home stadium of the Houston Astros Triple-A Minor League Baseball affiliate, the Round Rock Express.

The Panthers completed the season with the best record and finish in their school’s history, with many players earning accolades along the way. Fourteen seniors depart the program, but Coach Clint Welch will have many underclassmen with deep playoff experience returning to next year’s team.

Congratulations to the team, coaches, and staff on a historic season for the record books!
