I became friends with Jocelyn when I first started writing in 2019. She was one of the first writers I wanted to emulate because her writing is positive and upbeat.

Jocelyn is a prolific writer and has published ten books, not including ones written in collaboration with her sister.

I had the privilege of writing an editorial review of her book, Poems of Love and Letting Go. Check out this moving read of grief, loss, and letting go.

Over the past two years, Jocelyn started two Facebook groups, The INSPIRER Group of Medium Writers and Medium Christian and Catholic Writers of which I am a member of both.

Also, I have seen her make reference to her blog I Take Off the Mask! When I asked Jocelyn the story behind it, she responded:

“I started it more than a decade ago when I was coming into terms with my true self. I was searching for truth inside and out, the truth about myself and what I would believe in. Though it started as a self-development blog, it eventually led to much of my spiritual reflections.”

Truth be told, ya’ll look up this girl whose writing is an inspiration! You’ll not be sorry.
