An Untitled, Morning Poem

So sorry all, I meant for this to be out yesterday. But here it is now, and I hope you enjoy.
I want a butterfly to land on my nose
Just once
To let me know
That my soul is right
And straight
with the world
Monarch’s march against
An August wind
Sun swinging low
A lightly scorched leaf
Falls
In front of a blackened sole
Connection to earth
Through the sensation of cool soil
And waxy grass
Gardina’s scent a testament to beauty
Pertinent
Within a troubled mind
