Black England Soccer Players

Italy is the champion of Europe. On Saturday, during the Euro 2020 final, Italians defeated England in a penalty shootout to become the undisputed kings of the continent. The win is Italy’s second-ever Euro title and first since 1968. Moreover, it was the first shootout in a Euro final since 1976.

England manager Gareth Southgate brought on both Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho to take penalty kicks, and both missed. Rashford hit the left post, and Gianluigi Donnarumma saved Sancho’s effort. However, the goalkeeper saved young talent Bukayo Saka’s attempt, England’s fifth, to clinch the title.

But there was an important point related to this match: Not only have many England fans sent 3 Black England players racist comments on Instagram, but they’re also beating people up.

As somebody said on Twitter, the fight against racism must continue. There’s no white without black. We are all created equal in God’s eyes. Respect Saka, Rashford, and Sancho.

The same racist England fans who commented on all 3 players' Instagram pics with racial abuse would’ve been the same England fans who would be calling those three players heroes if England would’ve won.

Additionally, England fans in London attacked Italians and a child at Wembley; 12 people stabbed in Chadwell Heath; another got thrown into the Thames, random attacks against Black people.

But did you know that around half of England’s Euro football team are from families of immigrants? So anyway, in football, there is no place for hate and racism.

In sum, as Martin Luther King said: “Our lives begin to end the day we remain silent about the things that matter.”
