When Former Son of Apartheid Meet The Queen of Ultra Right Wing
It has been a couple of weeks since Elon Musk made the startling promise to reveal a behind-the-scenes Twitter decision that led to banning/limiting the dissemination of Hunter Biden’s laptop story.
A salacious and scandalous story involving the president’s son that has since become deep right-wing grievances that time and common sense both failed to heal. As someone always looking for something new and exciting to write about, I was curious. But as someone who vehemently is anti-suppression and supports those, whoever they might be, trying to shed light onto the power institutions, I was praying for Elon to come good on this, despite my natural inclinations to remain pessimistic on cases like this.
Instead, unsurprisingly Musk only validated my pessimism by choosing to twitter-thread-drip-feed us a carefully stitched and meticulously controlled right-wing narrative decrying persecution by the lords of big tech. What was initially built up as the most sensational and biggest disclosures of alleged collusion between the government and the former Twitter management team turned out to be nothing more than a few bad tweet cases by known racist and extremist individuals.
A few isolated cases that Musk, with the help of his new right-wing tutors, are now leveraging to portray him as worthy of the new MAGA leader with a blue bird logo rather than the infamous red hat. Using the selective and controlled release of the Twitter files as a foot-in-the-door tactic in the name of “transparency” to latch Musk into the global fascist movement. And as it turned out, this ingenious stunt has already earned Mr. Musk significant stripes in his favored community. Who knew the only way to see dividends from a 44 billion dollar investment was simply by manipulating the gullible conservatives in affirming their perceived victimhood of a “persecuted” minority?
However, as with every other rich white dude though, Musk’s primary concern is preserving and protecting the system that helped him get so wealthy in the first place and not with the average conservatives. This means, first and foremost, heeding government and institutional complaints in censoring views they deem contra-institutional and enforcing their dictates, silencing the voices of the system’s victims. Also, in times of high social polarization both at home and abroad, Musk sees having the vastly wealthy bigots and white supremacists on his side as crucial to maintaining the illusion of the fallacious Vox Populi Vox Dei shibboleth. That is why he brought Bari Weiss in, someone entrusted by both the institutions and the noisy right-wing and white supremacy media echo- chambers. To sift through the Twitterfiles2 trove, not in search of the truth, but in search of, and even sometimes manufacturing, the tinniest red meat to throw to their already riled up racist and anti-LGBTQ hate base.
And that is precisely what Weiss and Matt Taibbi–former liberal journalist and now relapsed right winger/white supremacy sympathizer– have done.
“A new #TwitterFiles investigation reveals that teams of Twitter employees build blacklists, prevent disfavored tweets from trending, and actively limit the visibility of entire accounts or even trending topics — all in secret, without informing users,” Weiss said in a Twitter thread without any hard evidence. She, of course, as the goal of this exercise has been from the beginning, listed right-wing names that she claims to have been the targets of this widespread unjust, and vicious anti-the-right censorship by the former regime of Twitter.
Weiss went on to list what she described as “barriers…erected” by the former Twitter team, including “trends blacklist, search blacklist shadow banning.” other apparent preventive measures were “Do not amplify” and “visibility filtering.”
Unsurprisingly, Weiss mentions only three people as the evidential corps of the martyred victims of this massive crime.
Three of the four individuals she listed are avid white supremacy activists, media propagandists, and purveyors of hatred, including Don Bongino, the blackface of white supremacy. Charlie Kirk, the founder of a white supremacy organization called Turning Point USA and the Libs Of TikTok, is a social media account that promotes hate and demonization of BLM activists and the LGBTQ community. Weiss claims without evidence that the rules were biased against her people and that the censorship policies were enforced only on the right and not the left. One of her main concerns in the whole thread seems to be Chaya Raichik, the woman who runs Libs of TikTok Twitter account, presenting her as an egregious example of how the rights of the right crashed by Twitter. But as it turns out, despite her well-documented crusade of hatred against LGBTQ and black people, Chaya Raichik was actually “protected by Twitter’s upper echelon.”
Eagle-eyed Twitter users noticed this on the screenshots Weiss posted, which they ostensibly forgot to crop out.
It’s astonishing accidental revelations that again show, contrary to their claims, Twitter, protecting racists, bigots, and white supremacists and will likely continue to do so even more under the new ownership.
It has been an open secret that Twitter has been used as a tool of oppression, cracking down on human rights groups, freedom activists, and grass-roots organizations. Weiss herself partially admits this fact, stating that the Twitter global censorship team handled more than ‘200’ cases a day, which means thousands of cases per month. This fact reaffirms the prevalent truth that Twitter’s main target groups for censorship go beyond just three right wings wackos.
Weiss wrote, “the group that decided whether to limit the reach of certain users was the Strategic Response Team — Global Escalation Team, or SRT-GET. It often handled up to 200 ‘cases’ a day.”
And later on Thursday, Matt Taibbi also revealed in another Twitter thread team twitter’s behind scene discussions about what to do with former president Trump and his false tweets regarding the election.
That’s it; many people anticipating massive and earth-shuttering new revelations were stunned by how this highly hyped-up stunt failed to produce any new and unexpected results. Instead, it only confirms what literally everyone on Twitter already knew existed. The company’s long-standing policies that even Musk continues to reinforce after taking over Twitter.
“New Twitter policy is freedom of speech, but not freedom of reach.
Negative/hate tweets will be max deboosted & demonetized, so no ads or other revenue to Twitter. You won’t find the tweet unless you specifically seek it out, which is no different from rest of Internet,” Musk stated
Ironically the same policies he and his new ultra-right-wing handlers are now characterizing as overreaching and totalitarian. So why all the hype, all the fanfare? Is there sub pilot for this? Is this all a cover for something nefarious and extraordinary? The answer is yes. These selective exaggerated, and meaningless revelations are just a prelude to a much darker, sinister, and racist from Twitter and its Chief Twitt. The Queen of the Ultra-Right is here to help the former son of apartheid rediscover his true purpose as an influential white person.
And it all begins first by painting him as the sole champion for now apparently oppressed and persecuted white people’s voices in digital spaces. Secondly, using his status, influence, and mighty machine to elevate the evil agents of racists and bigots. Promote and normalize white supremacy policies. While also protecting the existing and entrenched systemic racism.
When the Queen of the Ultra-Right meets the former apartheid boy.
This is not your typical movie pilot of When Harry met Sally with a promise of a happy ending and a lot of breaks ups and laughs in the middle. Instead, it is an odd problematic story of the world’s richest and the most narcissistic man outsourcing his Twitter thread responsibilities to one of the most hateful women in America, particularly issues pertaining to race and equality. Bari Weiss is someone you should not be aiming for to help you expose malignant company policies if you are actually serious about transparency.
So who is Bari Weiss, AKA the Queen of the Ultra-Right?
From her college days to her highly publicized stunt quitting NYT, Weiss has been known to be a creature of the ruling elites. She, in fact, sharpened her fangs in the cancel culture, smearing and promoting discriminatory policies towards black people and other people of color, especially Palestinians. Some even say Weiss pioneered the Cancel Culture at the behest of the big institutions in efforts to help entrench and maintain the domestic and international status quo. Weiss, in 2020 resigned from her position–which many believed she got, in the first place, through her white card privilege– as the opinion editor of the prestigious New York Times after her righteous colleagues at the paper questioned her softness on white supremacy ideology — following her approval of an Oped by Senator and institutional racist Senator Tom Cotton, calling for the US military to be violently unleashed on BLM protestors.
As expected, her decision to leave the paper on her own terms made her a hero and martyr in the upper echelons of the far right. MAGA people characterized her voluntary exit as an example of Woke onslaught on whites. They began coalescing behind her in massive numbers in terms of donations and gratuitous subscriptions. A month barely passed when she left the NYT. Weiss was already on her way to establishing her own media empire — taking her bashing and trafficking hatred against black people to a new level without adult virtue-singling white liberal supervision. Gaining almost half the subscribers as NYT in a short period. Thanks to her relentless pursuit of anti-black stories that kept giving breath to white supremacy narratives, Weiss boasted that she has been able to make more money than she did at NYT, more money than she could ever need.
Weiss has also been notably instrumental in organizing and fundraising for the anti-CRT racist movement crusade led by Christopher Rufo.
She was one of the leading organizers and fund-raisers of the racial crusade against the Critical Race Theory.
Weiss deeply believes and expressed on many occasions in her writings that the teachings of CRT are inherently anti-White. And worries that the instructions of CRT will, in the end, lead to not only the depletion of white privileges that she and her colleagues so lavishly enjoy but also an inverted racism. Since leaving the NYT, Weiss made Substack her base, publishing what she classified as clandestine scoops of “anti-White” biases in Schools, Judiciary, and Corporations in the early days. Due to her connections and devoted activism in defense of White supremacy systems in America, Weiss managed to recruit race snitches in kindergartens, primary Schools, High Schools, and Universities. In one of her resistance-piece against what she and her fellow Ultra MAGA call the threat of “the critical race theory” titled ‘the miseducation of America’s elites.’ Weiss wrote, “The dissidents use pseudonyms and turn off their videos when they meet for clandestine Zoom calls. They are usually coordinating soccer practices and carpools, but now they come together to strategize. They say that they could face profound repercussions if anyone knew they were talking.” She inserted this as a warning to all Whites, particularly parents who have now become oppressed, rebels, and voiceless, all because their kids are being taught CRT and about America’s cruel treatment of Black people. “They (parents) say that their children tell them they’re afraid to speak up in class. Most of all, they worry that the school’s new plan to become an ‘anti-racist institution’ is making their kids fixate on race and attach importance to it in ways that strike them as grotesque.”
Weiss is also a founding member of the University of Austin, which the far-right donors and activists described as an educational base to fight back against legacy universities that factor Affirmative Action into their admission policies. In other words, a white supremacy Madrassa to train and equip the next generation leaders of the movement in the art of covert racism.
Thanks to Weiss’s devoted Jihad against CRT, the racist movement has been able to mobilize its base and pass anti-free speech censorship and book banning in more than 35 states. It’s important to note which state and a governor led the way in these racist efforts: it was Florida and Ron DeSantis. This is why Ron DeSantis is crucial in Bari Weiss’ next move and the reason Elon Musk has already endorsed him.
Now that they have passed bills banning Critical Race Theory in many states, Weiss and her co-conspirators in the anti-CRT crusade want to go Federal. And for that, they need a trained racist, a younger candidate (DeSantis), and a new hate machine, a Fox News 2.0 (Twitter). Chief Twit and his powerful digital toy are, therefore, essential to the right-wing’s 2024 agenda and will determine who goes to the White House and who stays in the dog house.
The end goal
Under the spell of the Queen of Ultra-Right, Twitter and its Chief Twitt will now use the revelations of Hunter Biden’s story to build up a fake illusion of transparency in new policies around Twitter, which they would then cite in revealing and publicizing internal deliberations by the former Twitter regime regarding 2020 summer protests. Regarding BLM, its leaders, and allies during the heights of George Floyd protests. They will also make public how major companies responded to the protests and how civil rights organizations and black leaders encouraged social media companies, especially Twitter, to take steps to fight hate and the pandemic of racism. They are dead set on leaking Twitter discussions by schools and universities. By teachers and their students and anyone who put BLM on their bio. And even responses and actions were taken by governments worldwide to support the racial justice movement.
This highly organized, immensely funded racist anti-CRT movement has already scored big wins in Virginia, Florida in New York via propaganda and naked black hatred. Now they are taking it to the next level: Twitter.
All of this also gives us a purview into the future and the direction Twitter is headed as well as the intentions of Musk. We might soon be seeing Twitter being utilized as Radio Rwanda. The coming together of the former apartheid boy and the queen of the anti-CRT queen should worry us all.
Their union is not about ushering in a new era of transparency and free speech championship: it’s about going on the offense against BLM and what the modern Klans refer to as “Woke” people and companies. While at the same time elevating fascist voices. Redoubling and reinforcing the strict censorship policies on left-wing, anti-war voices and colonial and imperialist resisters.
Vox Populi Vox Dei is just a slogan for the publicity stunt. The real goal, however, is to make the voice of the fascist the voice of god.
We must be proactive and prevent ever getting to that point by defunding and demolishing the right-wing media
Because the next Hitler is not wearing Swastika, he is wearing a press vest.
