I’ve never met an entrepreneur who didn’t have a compelling story to tell. The very spirit of entrepreneurship shouts from the rooftops, “I have something amazing to share!”

Beyond the glitz of the next great product or service that will change the world, there’s another, deeper, set of stories that every entrepreneur also has to share: the trials and tribulations of making the magic happen in the first place.

That’s why we’re launching the Founder’s Forge Podcast (https://anchor.fm/foundersforge). We want to go deep with entrepreneurs, interview style, to provide a voice to those startup founders who are just recently starting to feel the heat as they get their business ramped up. If you’re a founder, we want to hear your candid and untainted stories about the challenges that are confronting you and your team now, in the moment where the fire is the most intense for your company.

We believe that by sharing your passage through the crucible with the wider entrepreneur community, not only can you help us all gain better insight into the process of business creation, but you too might find solutions to the very problems you‘re encountering.

We’re welcoming founders at various stages of their startup process to come and speak their minds. Whether you’re at the ideation stage or just landed a late series of funding with solid traction, we’d like to hear what big (or even small!) challenges you’ve already overcome, what you’re struggling with right now, and what your concerns are in the near future.

And for those of you who are listening, we encourage you to engage the community with your own struggles and solutions. Together, we can empower each other and improve our likelihood of success in the world of entrepreneurship.

If you’d like to be on the podcast, send us your information (support@foundersforge.co) and we’ll get started. You’ll be asked to fill out a Lean Canvas (like this one: https://leanstack.com/leancanvas), provide a social media link or two and give us enough information so that we can have a basic understanding of where you are and what your business is all about.

After your first interview, we’re not done! We want to hear where you are later on, so we’ll keep in touch with you about having a second, third, or more interviews. Success doesn’t happen overnight, nor does everything go smoothly. We all want to hear how you’re progressing — even if you end up taking a step or two backwards. We and the wider entrepreneurial community are here to support and empower you.

We know you have a compelling product or service to share that will change the world (or even just a tiny part of it), and you’re willing to take the risk to make that vision come true. That’s what makes you an entrepreneur after all, you’re willingness to step into the forge and start hammering away. Let us all hear your story!
