Wednesday, July 17: After evaluating an overwhelming number of applications, Annapolis-based startup accelerator, FounderTrac, today announced the 10 winning companies that will benefit from a 12 week program that offers free resources to help mature startups become venture capital ready.
Ryan Sears, Cofounder of FounderTrac explained the benefit to the finalists was not only access to 1-on-1 ‘Sherpa’ mentoring, proprietary content and company building framework, but also access to capital.
“The 2018 FounderTrac cohorts raised more than $5 million from the beggining of the program up until Demo Day, and they raised additional money following Demo Day,” said Mr Sears.
“This is our 4th cohort. We once again saw incredibly inspiring founders and ideas in this year’s pool of startups. It was very difficult to evaluate and choose the winners, however we think the finalists will benefit from our customized work sessions to move their companies to their next benchmark.” Mr Sears stated.
“We thrive from the opportunity to partner with the region’s most talented founders to bring new startups further along in their business journey.”
The 10 companies set to participate in the cohort over the next few months, starting on August 13, are:
