Charlotte Hornets punish Phoenix Suns, win 137–115 at home

The Charlotte Hornets got the job done against the Phoenix Suns at home, winning by 22 points and dominating throughout.

Phoenix gave up 39 points in the first quarter and 71 points by halftime. Heading into the third quarter, the Suns trailed the Hornets by 21.

Bismack Biyombo had a standout game for Charlotte, ending with a box score of 11 points, 13 rebounds, and three assists to lead the victors. As for the Suns, Devin Booker led the team in scoring with 32 points followed by 11 assists and two rebounds.

The win brings the Hornets one game closer to reaching .500 and improves their home record this season to 16–8. Meanwhile, Phoenix dropped their 36th game in 47 tries and falls to 4–19 away from home.

Next up on their respective schedules, the Charlotte Hornets will travel to Indiana for a road game against the Pacers while the Phoenix Suns will head to Minnesota to take on the Timberwolves.
