American Women Prefer Identity of “Fancy Pet”
They could have saved us all — but decided . . . “Nah”
Pundit after pundit predicted that American women would come out in force in the 2024 presidential election to protest the loss of their bodily autonomy with the overturn of Roe v. Wade and the degrading language used about women in the Trump campaign including calling Kamala Harris “the C word” and a prostitute with pimp handlers; Nancy Pelosi a bitch; and any woman without children a childless cat lady who was therefore miserable and had no reason to live.
Pundits predicted women would turn out in force for Kamala Harris because that is was what any normal, self-respecting individual would do — forcefully object to vulgar slander, infantilization, and threats to their own and their female family’s lives.
And it would have been easy to send Trump packing, along with his hateful, misogynistic, racist, homophobic, anti-science, and zenophobic views. All American women had to do was show up at the polls and vote for one of their own. Then we would never have had to think about him again.
But in the end, American women decided, Nah. I’ll let men decide when and whether I have children and threaten me and my daughters with death via miscarriage. Plus I’ll get my body surgically altered so I will look like…
