Discovering Light Beyond Its Meaning

There is light all around you, are you willing to see it?

“Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times,
if one only remembers to turn on the light.”
This quote from Harry Potter,
Lit a spark in my heart,
The spark of hope,
That no matter what,
There is light,
Amidst the darkest storms.

How when your heart feels heavy,
A text from your friend makes it easier,
To breathe,
To carry on,
And to face the next day head on.

Or how your mother’s cooking,
Can heal,
The deepest scars,
You endure,
Through the toil,
Of hard work,
And jealousy,
At workplace.

Or how that book,
Lights you up,
When you sit down,
And shut all those gadgets up.
How you are lost in the story,
And you wonder,
What on earth is reality?
