Initially, I imagined meeting a fan of my writing would be thrilling. I envisioned us taking selfies, sharing laughs, and swapping stories. However, in my imagination, my number one fan was another woman. I never expected it to be one of my weirdest dates.

Salem’s* profile on Hinge — my go-to dating site — was sparse. The main indication was that he’s a Capricorn. I tend to gel well with signs around my date of birth, like the Leos, Virgos, and Libras, but other signs are a gamble.
