My beautiful child, let me tell you what is no longer true

There are others like her. Others choosing to bravely unweave the stories of generations past where violence and control were tools used to create structure and a perception of safety.
We wrapped ourselves in this cloth of shadows to protect ourselves from the fearsome power of mystery. It served a purpose. Once.
It brought us here to the present moment. But now these shadows no longer serve. They are causing collapse, despair, and ruin.
