You are Probably Using the Word “Alpha” Incorrectly
For centuries, we have misunderstood the traits needed for leadership
Everyone loves a heartfelt bromance, but the latest coupling has political pundits worried. Elon Musk — the world’s richest man — has got in bed with the MAGA movement and is now bankrolling Donald Trump. So far, Musk has contributed at least 132 million to Trump’s campaign and even pledged to randomly award $1 million to registered swing state voters daily through Election Day.
In return, Trump has promised to appoint Musk to a top political post. Of course, any fool knows Musk’s real reward will be trade policies with China that favor his commercial interests, relaxed regulation of SpaceX, numerous tax breaks, lucrative federal contracts, and whatever other diabolical scheme the two can concoct to fleece hardworking Americans.
While their goals may be aligned, the only personality trait these two seem to share is their oversized egos. Musk is a smooth-talking, eccentric tech mogul set to colonize Mars, while Trump can’t master a coherent sentence and thought Finland was part of Russia.
But dig a little deeper, and you’ll find these two titans share one unshakable belief — alpha male superiority.
