Defend The Kingdom — our favorite tower defense game — is launching Seasonal Prize Pools on Fractal! Here’s what you need to know:
- Dates: Each season lasts 14 days and starts again the following month. Season 0 begins May 25th at 12pm UTC and ends June 12th at 12pm UTC
- How to enter: Play the game and create a Fractal Account
- How to rank: You’ll be ranked by trophies, which you can win during PvP battles (co-op results don’t count towards your seasonal score)
- How to win: Rank top 1000 to get a piece of the $3000 prize pool and $KING tokens

How to enter the seasonal prize pool
- Go to Defend The Kingdom on Fractal and tap “Play Now”
- To play on mobile, download the app from the App Store or Google Play
- Create a Defend The Kingdom account with your email and password
- Go to the event page in the game and select Fractal Tournament
- Link your DTK account with your Fractal Account
- Click “Battle Now” to start queuing for matchmaking
- Complete matches and collect trophies to increase your score on the leaderboard!
Tips and tricks for playing Defend The Kingdom
Defend the Kingdom is a mobile tower defense game developed by Kingdomverse.
Your goal is to gather your units and lead your Monkey Legend Heroes into battle against the Demon Empire. You’ll need to build, strategize and outwit your opponents to restore peace to the Kingdom.
Be sure to study the in-game tutorial before attempting PvP mode. Here are some tips and tricks:
- Your monkey heroes will shoot at incoming creatures
- Don’t let them get through your defense!
- Gain SP by killing invaders
- Spend your SP on spawning additional heroes or powering up heroes on the battlefield
- Merge heroes of the same kind and dot to spawn higher-dot ones!

NEW! Introducing Legend Heroes
DTK has gotten some major improvements since its Open Beta launch — including Legend Heroes:
- What is it: Legend Heroes are characters that help you navigate through the game and defeat enemies
- How to get it: You’ll receive a FREE Legend Hero by default
- Critical hit: Legend Heroes can perform powerful blows from the Magic Stone to the path — all enemies within range will take x amount of damage
- Special powers: The Monkey Legends NFT also unlock new characters and abilities that aren’t available to other players
Bottom line: use your Legend Hero to turn the tides in battle!
Tournament schedule
DTK Seasons recur monthly on Fractal, each lasting 14 days.
Season 0 will start on 25 May 12pm UTC and end on 12 June 12pm UTC.
Note: Fractal and DTK reserve the discretion to update this schedule at any time.
Prizes and rewards
DTK x Fractal Season 0 has a prize pool of $3000 and 150000 $KING tokens.
All prizes will be distributed within a week after the tournament ends. For winner announcements and other live updates, please join our Discord.
The prize pool will be distributed to the top 1000 winners on the leaderboard as follows:
What are $KING tokens?
$KING tokens can be used in DTK to purchase premium in-game items and Season Passes, upgrade heroes (In-game characters), purchase and trade NFT items in the marketplace, and build your own metaverse in Kingdomverse.
Anti-cheating
Fractal and Fractal game partners reserve the right to disqualify tournament players in the event of cheating. It is considered cheating and is strictly prohibited to:
- Tamper with the game to gain an advantage over other players
- Use third-party software/macros to automate gameplay
- Use third-party software to modify game data
- Share your wallet or account
- Tamper with your report score
- Exploit a bug to gain an unfair advantage over other players
- Play against another account that you have created and/or are associated with unfairly
- Intentionally losing to another account could result in both accounts being considered cheating
Cheating will result in disqualification from the tournament and forfeiture of any leaderboard prizes. Fractal also reserves the right to terminate cheaters’ accounts and prevent their entry in future tournaments. Fractal reserves the right to update its anti-cheating policies.
