(1) We know it’s hard to make time for your creative side projects, so we launched our first ever hardware product, Make Time Clock. You believed it in so much, we hit our $25,000 goal on Kickstarter with 14 days still left to go. Did I mention this makes a fantastic gift for an artist in your life?

(2) We think virtual reality is on its way to being a big deal for the arts, so we published a starter guide. It is every bit as cool as it sounds.

Get started with virtual reality with a guest post from Fractured Atlas member Alex Coulombe.

(3) We were able to dig deep on issues from copyright law to broadband subsidies with our Robert W. Deutsch Arts and Technology Fellow. And you know what? It turns out arts policy and tech policy can get along!

Why read 7,000 pages of copyright case law when Courtney explains the important stuff?

(4) Fractured Atlas’s free SpaceFinder platform already helps thousands of artists find space to rehearse and perform. After the launch of a Disability and Dance Workspace Directory on SpaceFinder NYC, SpaceFinder sites across North America now include more comprehensive accessibility information for disabled artists.

(5) Earlier this year, we honored the most forward-thinking arts businesses in the field with our second annual Arts Entrepreneurship Awards. And we’re doing it again this year — nominations are now open for 2016.

Hurry! Nominations close December 21, 2015.

(6) Our movement now includes over 400,000 artists working in every discipline, in every U.S. state (and abroad!). Without your participation, Fractured Atlas would just be a website with a funny name.
