When we announced our decentralised publishing platform back in May, we used a temporary name and brand to allow us to talk about the acquisition of Ownage and draw a clean line between Fig and this new project.

Time to change

There was no teary farewell, no mournful look over the shoulder — ShardHQ was killed and buried in a shallow internet cache. Now that the dust has settled on the acquisition, we’ve had time to really think about the branding, voice and imagery. We wanted a bold statement with gaming iconography that reflects the power of the platform.

Enter Fragment

The Fragment branding ties together our vision for the platform: connected communities and game worlds, digital ownership of in-game items and interoperability in a way not envisioned before, all held together through meaningful interactions.

There’ll be plenty of insights into the inner workings of Fragment over the coming weeks. If you’re a developer, you’ll be able to get your hands on early versions of our SDKs soon so, if you haven’t already, pop over to our site and sign-up for all the latest Fragment news.
