Today, I’m thrilled to announce that Frame has become the world’s first Desktop-as-a-Service solution to run workloads exclusively in an isolated government-only cloud.

The launch of Frame on Microsoft Azure Government reflects our commitment to building a secure, next-generation end-user computing platform for government agencies. As the only fully cloud-hosted virtual desktop solution in Azure Government, we are thrilled by the opportunity to further support public sector customers in modernizing their approach to Enterprise IT and migrating to the cloud.

Public sector CIOs and IT leaders face an enormous challenge: improve security and rapidly deliver innovative technology to the public sector enterprise through the adoption of commercial cloud services. That’s why we engineered the Frame Platform Government Edition to meet the needs of government workloads, and we’re committed to keeping up with regulations including FedRAMP, ITAR, and NIST 800–171.

At Frame, we are determined to be the best partner for all public sector customers and help them execute their critical missions. Through partnership and a recent investment from In-Q-Tel, we are at the the forefront of digital transformation enabling the US Government to take advantage of public hyper-scale clouds. All the while, our platform ensures one-click simplicity of deployment and access of applications and data from a browser on any device, with no additional software.

Agencies migrating to Microsoft Azure Government have enjoyed the flexibility and cost-effectiveness of public Azure infrastructure. At the same time, they benefit from the highest compliance and security, hybrid flexibility, access exclusivity, and commercial-grade innovation required for modernization in the public sector today.

Frame customers can now leverage the many benefits of this transformational government cloud platform. We combine security, simplicity, elasticity, and cost-efficiency of Azure Government with our market-leading application and desktop streaming technology to deliver great user experience and a tailor made fit for all government organizations.

We will continue to work with Microsoft to provide our customers with a robust, collaborative, and secure platform that delivers mission critical capabilities to users on any device, from anywhere.
