The company has not specified if it is fully getting rid of the waiting list, but in a statement, Microsoft said it is conducting several experiments to onboard more users: “During this preview period, we are running several tests that may accelerate access to the new Bing for some users. We continue to be in preview and you can sign up at Bing.com.”

The partnership between Microsoft and OpenAI has been successful, with Bing recently registering 100 million daily active users. This is not surprising, considering the hype around AI-based chatbots, which have attracted tens of millions of eager users to try them.
