We’ve teamed up with Accel for our Series A | Framer.com
We’re excited to announce that we raised $7.7M in Series A funding led by Accel. These funds will further our mission to make Framer your go-to design tool from start to finish, whether you’re a product designer or a web designer, whether you love tinkering with code or are just getting started.
We recognize that there are plenty of tools to choose from nowadays, but Framer is inherently different. What started out as a code-based prototyping tool is now an end-to-end interactive design solution for drawing, animating, and sharing high-fidelity work.
Here are some things we’ll be working toward:
Improving Framer.
Over the last five months we released a steady stream of features to make Framer a well-rounded design tool —Gradients, Dynamic Type, Effects, Export, and more. We’re just starting to bridge the gap between design and code, so stay tuned for some exciting new updates.
Growing our team.
As a of team of 17, we’ve worked hard to improve Framer week by week. Now we’re looking for more talented and dedicated people to make it even better. If you have a deep interest in building design tools and enjoy working at the intersection of design and code, consider joining us. We’re currently looking for engineers, product designers, and sales managers.
Building our community.
Teams at Facebook, Google, Disney, and more use Framer to produce all the features you know and love, and we’ll be working harder to bring our tool to even more individuals and companies around the world.
Moving forward we’ll be teaming up with Luciana Lixandru, Accel’s newest partner. Over the last five years, Luiciana has been responsible for some of Accel’s noteworthy investments, including the UK unicorn Deliveroo.
