Framer on Medium enjoys a wide audience who are interested in reading about a variety of topics, including tech innovation, coding tutorials, design inspiration and more. Our editorial team creates content internally, but we also love publishing and promoting content from our community. To be included in our publication, please read the following guidelines.

  1. Create a Medium account.
  2. Add a headshot and bio.
  3. Submit a post to us for us to review and potentially publish.
  4. Email me at asha@framer.com to be added as a writer to the publication.

Content Tips

  • Read through articles that have already been published on our publication and write about things we haven’t covered yet. Or improve on the ones we have listed.
  • We love technical articles, but please keep in mind the general audience is that of an established designer with less than a year of coding experience.
  • Got an opinion on design, coding or the future of prototyping? We’re happy to publish but please refrain from slander, profanity or mudslinging.
  • Inject your own voice and tone as well as humor, anecdotes, or analogies to spice up your post.
  • 7 minutes is the optimal post length (but we understand if your subject matter requires more words).
  • By submitting your post to our publication, you agree to give us the right to curate your content. Don’t worry — we mostly edit for grammar and punctuation, as well as proper attribution, hyperlinks and tags.

Style Tips

  • Use a large and interesting image for the header of your post. This image will also appear in the preview of your post, so choose wisely.
  • Break up text and code with images or gifs, especially by showcasing Framer prototypes.
  • Break down points using headlines and sub headlines.
  • Keep paragraphs between 1–4 sentences long.
  • Use exclamation points, bolded text and italics sparingly.
  • Avoid profanity and negative criticism.

Consider the above to be helpful guidelines rather than absolute rules. We aim to publish as many of your submissions as possible while maintaining a baseline level of quality.

If you need feedback, don’t see your post published immediately or just want to chat about potential content ideas, simply email me at asha@framer.com.

Thanks!
