Christmas without my son: Gennaro’s story
Gennaro hasn’t seen is son for three years now. But he still remember the last day they spent together, before his girlfriend took Salvatore away from him without telling him. She disappeared for a month, without saying a word to anyone. Finally, Gennaro’s girlfriend and his son were found in Ucraina, where she used to live.
Since then, Gennaro tried any way, legal and personal, to get his son back. Although the reason behind their disappearance is not clear yet to Gennaro, his girlfriend’s lawyer has specified that there were some episodes of “moral and financial mistreatment”. Gennaro asserts that he wasn’t abusive with her, however they argued a lot for money issues.
It’s been a long journey, both from a personal and legal point of view, but he hasn’t lost his hope of meeting with him again, and maybe, being able to give him his Christmas present.
