Violence against women: the marches in Italy (VIDEO)

In Italy, in the year 2019 at least 94 women were killed, almost 1 every 3 days. 80 of these murders happened at home, according to the Eures report.

The global movement “Ni una menos” has organised marches and protests in Italy as well. Few days before the 25 of November, International day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and Genres, I spoke to some of their activists to talk about their experiences as women and girls in Italy. I also spoke to one of the often forgotten categories of these events: trans women, to ask what the 25 November means to them.
