A beautiful week in Quebec City

It’s Tuesday, I had already rescheduled Medea because there was a big winter storm the day before but apparently, even today, the weather didn’t want to collaborate. It was stormy, windy and since nobody expected that weather, Medea and her husband didn’t bring any heavy winter clothes.

Having a winter storm on the 9th of April is quite surprising.

Some context

For the past 3 years now I’ve been lucky enough to be a Flytographer photographer. It’s a service that offers travelers to hire a photographer on the road. I love the idea to be able to get a curated professional photographer anywhere in the world. For me, it means that I’m the lucky one to photograph people visiting my beautiful town of Quebec City and experience our winter even during the month of April.

This time, Medea and her husband were visiting our city for a little romantic gateway.

The history and architecture confirmed this was the perfect location for a fun and romantic week away. We love traveling in the “off season” so we can see the area with a little more of a local vibe. Quebec did not disappoint! Walking down the Petit Champlain during a sudden snow storm with no one else around will forever be one of our favorite memories.

Quebec is such a wonderful city to make romantic photos and even tho I’ve been doing it for a long time now, I always find new little places even during a storm. Add travelers to the mix and it’s hard to miss the result.

Do yourself a favor- book Francis now!! Our photos from our shoot with him are my favorite souvenir we have to take home. He was so easy to work with and made us feel very comfortable. I love how every picture turned out. This was the BEST experience! Thanks so much Francis!
