[Op-Ed] 2018 Realm Power Ranking

1. Cibola — The undisputed power of this once overlooked country has been proven by the actions of Cibola in this new realm. As everyone knows now, Cibola won the race to The End. As Reagansborough was still worried and scrambling over getting ender pearls, Cibola had the end credits rolling through their screen. People may deny that this race was official since both countries acted like they didn’t have their minds on it, but both countries dedicated much of their time on it. Reagansborough had found the stronghold, and explored it until they found the portal. They were paying members outside of their country to recruit ender pearls, and they immediately went to the nether to find two nether fortresses after knowing about Cibola having blaze rods. They were clearly on the race to kill the ender dragon, and Cibola beat them. There were no other countries in the race. Along with killing the ender dragon, there are many other factors of power that Cibola carries. Since they arrived at the end first, they have many valuable items such as the dragon egg, elytras, and other extremely rare items that no other country has. The rarity of these items make them priceless, and Cibola’s possession of them only raises their power. The 75 levels dropped from the ender dragon was used to create enchanted armor and weapons that would protect Cibola’s members in case of a war. Besides The end, Cibola’s power can be attributed to the alliances it has formed. Although discreet, Cibola has formed alliances with notorious RavenDC and That Leo Kid. These alliances have given Cibola inside information that allowed them to strategically attack to set back Reagansborough in many ways. For example, the alliance with RavenDC allowed Cibola to know the secret base of MasterKy64 in which was immediately looted upon arrival of knowledge. Cibola’s rise to the top, in the words of Blanux, was “pretty easy.” They are currently on top of the realm since there is nothing that Reagansborough can do that Cibola can’t, but there are things Reagansborough can’t do that Cibola can.
2. The Rogue States of the Strong Wind — This country ranks at #2 in this power ranking mainly due to their strong alliance with Cibola. Cibola is such a powerful country that any allies with it automatically have the upper hand in many situations. In the words of Its Leo Tho, “One wind don’t make wind strong, many wind make wind strong.” Cibola is one of the many wind that is making wind strong. Although wind has not reached its full capacity, it has reached a level powerful enough to pass Reagansborough on the rankings. Cibola is in debt to the Rogue States for their help; therefore, if the Rogue States were in need of help — they would be backed up by the best there is.
3. Reagansborough — Although they may have great resources, a bright start for their infrastructure, and more players, Reagansborough ranks behind Cibola and the Rogue States simply because that’s what they are — behind. They have focused much of their time on unnecessary activities relating to power such as building and exploring. They are undoubtedly strong, they are just not as strong as Cibola. It has been made aware that although they do waste time, not all of their time has been wasted. For example, MasterKy64 built a secret base in which he can keep his valuable such as potions he has been working on and other valuable goods. Too bad Cibola found it. Spencercola and Lrule5 have been frequent users of the realm, yet they have failed to win a battle against Cibola. They may have killed members of Cibola, but that has only been followed by getting killed back without having the last laugh. Recently, Cibola trapped Lrule5 to one and a half hearts forcing him to combat log — an act of sheer cowardice. His scheduled ceremonial execution is just a way for Cibola to sit back and truly admire the empire they have created as they realize they are on top. Frank4453 has been focusing on his government buildings as well as bringing his state up. All other forgotten members of Reagansborough had not made a significant enough impact to the country to be considered on this power ranking. The standards have been set high this realm in terms of power, and Reagansborough has not been able to keep up. Since The End race is over now, after Cibola’s victory, Reagansborough will be focusing on other missions now following their defeat. It is unknown if Reagansborough can catch up with The Rogue States, let alone Cibola, but it is possible since the Minecraft Realm will never cease to disappoint.
