Do you ever have one of those mornings when you wake up and wonder why you write?

You just checked your stats, and your views are down. You hope to make it into the $100 club but it seems so out of reach when you made $18.27 last month.

It’s not that you don’t try. You get up every morning and pound the keys until something comes out. You polish it a bit and hit the scary publish button.

Then the crickets start chirping.

Before you give up, consider this. What’s really happening is you haven’t found your ideal reader yet. You may have written a persona profile for the person on the other side of the screen. But if that reader isn’t connecting, it’s time to revisit that profile.
